I'm using 9.0 RC2 on an AMD K62 500mhz system. If I go in and out of gnome-ppp several times(connecting each time), on the third or fourth time of dialing, the computer locks hard with no response from mouse or keyboard. The keyboard capslock and scrolllock lights flash on and off continuously. The only solution has to been to power off and back on. This problem occurs regardless of the window manager/desktop being used. Using kppp is okay as is pppd.
