rc3 problems: 1. installing rc3 last night (expert install), i entered my ISP number at the modem config point (number=*70,303...) as usual, then using kppp for the first time did not connect because the number had been recorded as 70303... without any of the special punctuation...
2. i've seen this mentioned before in the list, i'll re-iterate: rc3 is now requiring the user to input a DNS/default GW, etc in network setup saying "IP must be in form 1.2.3.4.". i always left these blank because they didn't pertain, and now adding these entries adds default routes i don't want and keeps the pppd route from being added/working correctly without manual intervention. looks like its coming along to be a great release, will you be trying a 4th rc before the final? thanks, -sean ===== [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sean Harre Boulder, CO __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
