It is recognized, sets up easily, and functions perfectly in 9.0 beta 4 and rc 1. It does not set up properly under rc 2 and rc 3. In the setup procedure a Mode item has been added, and this seems to be the source of the problem. In my situation with this card, I must use the "infrastructure" mode setting. This is not included among the possible choices during the set up procedure. The default mode in the set up is something called "Managed" which is not mentioned in the Linksys documentation -- and it does not work. The computer will not connect with any other machine on the network or with the gateway. It can only ping itself. I hope the final release will not contain this flaw.
