rar isn't in contrib and won't be included. It's a commercial application, not open source. But you can download a version for x86 linux at their home page and a version of unrar from the plf site: http://plf.zarb.org/rpm2html/cooker/i586/unrar-3.0-1plf.i586.html With that program you can at least uncompress rar archives.
