I did like you meant, but the problem still reamins.
My bios seems to be ACPI-only, so i will manually use it in my own kernel.
So shame Mandrake didn't include it in the latesty kernel ... (i know it is 
because of unstabilities ...), but having a computer that powered off before 
(on an older configuration), and not the newer one ...

Nevertheless, 9.0 rocks, the installation went fine and urpmi is wonderfull.

I will stress it a little bit to report bugs.

I, as a end-user, will certainly continue to promote Mdk over the wolrd ;-)
