I have not seen this bug reported either, but I ran into something that
may be similar when i first booted MDK 9.

My problem was this:
Any time that I would press Alt and any other key (perhaps it was Ctrl
-- I don't quite remember now... and I'm not sure if it was any other
key, but I know at least Delete and Left Arrow did it) my computer
would go into a suspend mode. When I would press a key again, it would
come back out of it.
This particular behavior could be related to the power settings in
your BIOS.

I didn't have the problem long. Here are the only things I changed
before it disappeared completely:
    - In MCC, I shut off the apmd (Advanced Power Managment Daemon)
> (I have since re-enabled it without problems)
    - switched from the GPL'd nv X11 drivers to proprietary nvidia ones
    - changed BIOS setting for USB support in DOS to enabled

In case it helps, my hardware is as follows:
ECS K7S5A Motherboard w/ onboard LAN and sound
AOpen Geforce 4 Ti 4200
Realtek 8139 LAN
SB Live value (emu101k)
AOpen / Logitech S48a PS2 mouse

  Good luck,
