I was please to see that the 9.0 installer provides on the left an 
option to install an nfs client.

But it is of little use to do that without also installing nfs-utils, 
which it neglects to do.   I first reported this in 8.2.

nfs-utils provides exportfs, among other things.   exportfs is required 
to set up your /etc/exports so that other machines on your LAN can mount 
things of yours that you permit to that machine via exportfs.
