I've encountered such problems 6 months ago, when i tried to do cd from cooker. Wouldn't it be possible that mkcd be a self program rather than a script (a metascript including all needed files). I understand that it depends on many librairies, but a stable mkcd is needed for those who just take snaphosts of cooker to test, so a -still working MakeCD- should cope with broken packages in cooker's developpment. (Last time, i had to upgrade cdrecord). Stef
