How do I disable ACPI? Seems my laptop only partially supports it, so I
don't get battery status, so I'd rather go back to APM. I tried adding
"pci=noacpi" to the "append" line in lilo.conf (it now reads
"append="devfs=mount pci=noacpi"") but this doesn't seem to work. Help!
