I have tried various things but as yet have found nothing that should
cause this behaviour.
Or that would correct it.
My thoughts are that that I have either a corrupted file or installed
rpm which is causing this.
This could be eliminated by a clean cooker install but since outside of
the kernel problem performance/usage ability of this system has not been
affected.
Unless it really becomes necessary I would prefer to try and ascertain
the cause/solution for my current dilemma.
