I now that you can't do anything about this it's just a point.
personnally I was switch back to windows for only three major point :
* fonts . [that is : ugly + Hebrew , and I'm also a java programmers in
netbeans font are very ugly]
* CDRecording [now there are a lot possibility but no one was good as nero]

* was an networks problem in linux that was causin in linux to disconnect
from adsl each few minutes it was fixed by changing the networks card later

*Multimedia .. [divx dvd etc]

It make to many menu I've liked the hidding method in
windows xp (the two down arow openning uncommon items)
only commnly used item are shown (by deafault I would like to see better
suited apps shown .

First a multimedia learning tools to learn newbees how to use linux as
replacement to windows , learn differences etc.

second an export tools that export some settings from windows like mails
setting inbox and all others folders from outlook .
favorites from IE .
networks configurations.
And a lot of common settings....
adding optionnaly windows fonts will be a good option .
