So basically this is not an example of the bug.

Gotta love accurate bug reports about how it crashes the machine...  So
the truth is that it's really just eating all the resources.  Without
knowing the exact URL that was causing the problem... my guess would be
it's a rather large RPM that he was trying to download, which probably
wouldn't fit in memory and was causing his system to swap horribly.
