Ha!!! Got it working on the ones on an internal network! By using the -A option, and giving it the DNS name of the fileserver, it works!
I'll let you know if it works from my 2.2.0.19 package when I get around to fixing that symlink. Question for you though: would it be OK for me to have it install ncpmount and ncpumount SUID root since that's the only way they're useful?
