Yes, there is one other way to do it, just for the user who uses kde
and wants consistency:
ln -s /usr/share/themes/Geramik/gtk-2.0/gtkrc ~user/.gtkrc-2.0
ln -s /usr/share/themes/Geramik/gtk/gtkrc ~user/.gtkrc
Think on a box where many users work, some with kde and some with gnome...
What would be a correct interface is to take KDE control panel, themes
section, and add a checkbox like
[ ] Set theme also for GTK1/GTK2/Gnome Apps.
And it could do the above link. So this will also work for Wonderland
(Bluecurve), or any other theme that has both KDE/GTK versions.
And look that it is an _optional_ feature, not like old kde versions
that had the bad habit to automagically change your default GTK theme.
So you logged just one time in KDE to try, and your Gnome desktop
was changed.
And the symmetric for Gnome also applies.
And if you want it, there could even be a 'draktheme' for mcc, to
set system wide defaults.
