I switched from Netscape 4.x to Mozilla about 0.7, and haven't had any
issues. My ~/mail folder is easily 200MB atm, cooker has over 6000 mails,
and so do a few other folders. The only thing is I am not sure if it
expunges right (but Pine does ;-)). Also, there has been a bit of a
performance drop, but I think that is uw-imap. Opening my cooker mail
folder takes about 20s, while doing the same in Evolution (1.0.8, I can't
get that far in 1.2.0) took at least 2 minutes.

And LDAP support (auto-completion) rocks, except there is not write
support (like in Evo, but once again, I have't managed to get 1.2.0 to
search in LDAP yet, whereas 1.0.8 did).

In fact (gasp!), I think if I had to choose between kmail and evo, it
would be kmail.
