Thanks for closing the Report... I have tried the above and still no joy. There
is nothing to rescue using the ALT2 rescue command, tried all the options and
then tried installing the new kernel, still no luck.
I would be happy to put this down as incompatible hardware but no-one has
confirmed this.
I have now exhausted all the support options I can find and I suppose will have
to revert to sad old windows as no-one seems to be able to help. Three months I
have spent trying to get help on this but as no one seems preparred to accept
it as a problem or fault I suppose I will give up.
