Hi,

I'd like to test suspend functionality on my laptop with lastest kernel
(swsuspend beta16 patch), so I passed the resume=/dev/"my_swap" option to
kernel and tryied to use the suspend.sh script made by Florent Chabaud ...
but:
"touch: creation of '/dev/shm/suspend.2937': permision denied"

I'm root for this operation and permision settings are:
drwx-r-x-r-x root root /dev/shm/

My question may be a bit stupid (sorry), but why can't I create a file in the
/dev/shm directory, whereas I can create subdirectories in it ?

Thank you for any help on this subject, and if some people have feed backs
about suspend on swap ...

Regards,

Sebastien.
