Okay let me backup and explain in detail what I'm trying to do here with this argument... As it standards now the VAR question on the licensing page is problematic for me. Mandrake is telling us that it's licensed under the GPL, but then putting a but in there. While I think this is a valid but, I think they are being intentionally vague here. I know darn well that if I showed this to my lawyer his response would be "Pay the $1990.00 it's cheaper than your potential exposure on this." So I feel like I'm getting coerced into buying this. I don't mind paying for GPLed products, I just don't like getting coerced into buying them.
