Yes, it is possible to burn a 650MB ISO onto 700MB media ;-)

I go to the video shop, and half the rentals are DVDs, half are HS. Does
this mean everyone has a DVD player at home? Does it mean people are
willing to buy a DVD drive to watch one video?

When I go to the garage (gas station), more pumps have unleaded (which we
got about 4 years ago) than leaded. Does this mean everyone has vehicles
which take unleaded?

Ubiquity shouldn't be judged by the people flogging the media, but
the installed base.
