Maybe making a bugzilla entry would be better, marking it a high
priority, attach the patches, and have people vote/comment on it every
so often ...

BTW, I did something like this on 2.4.19-16.5mdk on supermounted
Mandrake workstation DVD:
$ find /mnt/cdrom/ -name '*.rpm' -type f -exec rpm -K {} \;
And it completed succesfully, so I think that shows supermount is quite
robust. I was still getting some errors as I mentioned in MandrakeClub,
but that could be addressed by one of Andrey's latest patches which
isn't in 16.5mdk
