Looks a heck of a lot better than this: http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/screenshots/cooker-diskdrake-stupid-size-dialog.png Which is supposed to be a hot backup for this: http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/screenshots/cooker-diskdrake-stupid-size-dialog2.png So, clearly I would want the filesystem sizes to match as well as possible. An editable text box would have saved me about 2000 arrow key presses on the box with hardware raid, and about 5000 on the box with software raid, since you will notice I first had to size the software RAID partitions, then the LVM, then the real partitions, and at 100GB, the smallest increment on the mouse is somewhere between 500MB and 1GB ... Of course, this one: > http://members.xoom.virgilio.it/zanac/qtparted/screenshot/shot2.jpg is still missing a drop-down box on the dialog in place of the MB, which should be something like (MB|GB|TB) (kB probably not useful), where MB,GB,TB actually are MiB,GiB (1024MiB),TiB etc. (you will notice our big partitions are exactly 70GiB, the other two are exactly 30GiB) Buchan -- |--------------Another happy Mandrake Club member--------------| Buchan Milne Mechanical Engineer, Network Manager Cellphone * Work +27 82 472 2231 * +27 21 8828820x121 Stellenbosch Automotive Engineering http://www.cae.co.za GPG Key http://ranger.dnsalias.com/bgmilne.asc 1024D/60D204A7 2919 E232 5610 A038 87B1 72D6 AC92 BA50 60D2 04A7
