I have an ATI AIW 3D Rage Pro on AGP. When I run xvinfo, I get;
[sda@spence bin]$ ./xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
 no adaptors present
XFree appears to be loading all the modules;
Section "Module"
    Load "dbe" # Double-Buffering Extension
    Load "v4l" # Video for Linux
    Load "extmod"
    Load "type1"
    Load "freetype"
    Load "glx" # 3D layer
Lspcidrake gives this output;
[sda@spence bin]$ ./lspcidrake

As a result, I cannot run xawtv and/or avview. Both of these apps run perfectly in
ML9.0
with the same hardware. I have checked Changelog to see if anything has been
disabled but no joy. I would be happy to supply any other info.
