------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-09 16:06 ------- In that case /etc/pcmcia/config needs to have the bindings updated from several wireless cards to use the orinoco_cs driver. The version of /etc/pcmcia/config distributed in pcmcia-3.2.3.tar.gz uses orinoco_cs instead of wvlan_cs, but pcmcia-cs-3.2.3-1mdk is using an older version. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: 9.1 Beta 3 Not sure if this ought to be under wireless-opts, pcmcia-cs or kernel. The wvlan_cs driver is bound to several Wireless cards in /etc/pcmcia/config but is not present as a module in the 2.4.21pre4-1mdk kernel Consequently many popular wireless cards cannot be configured without manually editing /etc/pcmcia/config to use the alternative orinoco or wavelan drivers.
