just a few comments on this thread: - "opening" up things is *costly* for developers here. Answering to mails take always more time...
- many things are *not* decided, but are the way they are because it ended up that way, because nobody took the time to change things. - there is usually no real will to discard comments/help. But many people mainly report a problem without giving a fix or at least suggesting a fix -- les bugs s'entassent comme la merde dans les chiottes (Pixel)
