Then this is a bug in blank.img: of course it should know that
modules loading is disabled :). Are you trying 9.0? If that's the
case, don't forget there's an errata about that:

If you're using cooker, it should work.. please tell me if you
were using cooker or 9.0.

Hum alas these options are kernel options and AFAIK they need to
be passed to the kernel at boot time; it then requires such
detection code to be stuffed in syslinux.. :(.

Maybe we could also patch the BOOT kernel (installation kernel)
to add these options when it boots and detects an Athlon..
Chmouel WDYT? Of course we need first to be sure that the problem
is linked to the athlon's.
