------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-20 00:10 ------- Ah, sorry about any unecessary complications. I do have a mixed English/French install, but the latter only for a keyboard selection during the install process. Using localefrake, I have re-selected American English and United States as the country. I can confirm that I'm in en_US.UTF-8 across all LC_ variables. But there is no "advanced" option in localedrake that I can find to override the UTF-8; only a pair of language/country dialogs. Am I missing someting? The man pages don't come out right in UTF-8 (consistanty messing up the hyphen), which I'm not sure is necessarily a Mandrake problem but it is what tipped me off. That's what made me think that there is a relation to this bug; UTF-8 processing across languages...? ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: In french installation, for word with accent, become bad caracters instead.
