------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-20 07:18 ------- As of 9.1 RC1, the installation looks much better (anti-aliased fonts, crisper graphics) but at the summary page it still doesn't have the "Graphical Interface" configured. The "Network" I also had to do by hand (I think; it said "lan" but I clicked on configure anyway, as I wasn't sure if "lan" meant it had detected my card and configured it or not). I'm happy to report that the separate bug I had filed is now resolved; I'm typing this on my newly-installed 9.1 RC1 -- so the network works! So to address my original issues: "Keyboard" was configured to "US" so that is OK. "Graphical Interface" was not configured, nor was it "Wizarded". "Network" may or may not have been configured (it didn't say "Not Configured" but I clicked my way through it so someone should test whether the network is actually configured when it just says "lan"). Thanks! ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: The "Keyboard" is blank (this used to be asked immediately after the language, but I think that dialog is gone). The "Graphical Interface" and "Network" are both "not configured". I believe previous versions would "Wizard" through the configuration of these, rather than leaving it up to the user to click on. If a user clicks Next here, the video and network would not work. This is Mandrake 9.1 beta 2.
