Great, yet another bug incorrectly assigned to me when replying by email. Since
the poster has not tried any suggested options, or updated his report, leaving
as NEW but reassigning to owner.

description:
I have Manrake 9.0 installed. I have a Sony cd/rw and a Sony dvd player.

I have an internal sound system using Soyo Dragon Pentium motherboard. Both
players are connected to "internal" sound source connections. When I boot the
system and login. The welcome sound-track play's successfully, which leads me
to beleive that the sound system is configured and working.

Both cd drives are functional as far as accessing data cd's on the drives.
But when I insert a Sound CD, and launch the cd player, I can not get it
to recognize the cd in the drive. I cant get it to eject and/or move from one
track to another... ect. Neither of the cd drives work......

I have reported this problem before during the beta testing.

This is the only major problem I have encountered thus far..
And sad-to say for me it is a show-stopper.....

Id love to pluck done my money for a boxed set, but not untill this bug is
fixed.....
