Ok,

Did the upgrade running now drakxtools. 9.1-4mdk... Can no get past the
previous sticking point. One small point to note.. When I do an auto-detect
either in normal or expert mode for SMB type printers.... all it can find is the
PDF generator on my local box and on my other linux box.... Correct me if I'm
wrong but Linux!=Windwos *big cheesy grin* Otherwise the nicest part is that
it doesn't insist on loading and not allowing me to remove the printer on my
other linux box... wich is the one attached to my windows box that I'm trying to
install. Thanks. Moving the bug to fixed.

description:
Attempting to set up a remote printer. Open MCC click on hardware --> printer
Printer drake opens. Gives the message about not finding a locally connected
printer etc. Click on the yes option. Printerdrake via urpmi now asks for
disk1 I insert disk and it goes out to the net to install the software. Then
once urpmi is completed it's task printer drake crashes back to MCC.. Re-open
PrinterDrake. Again it is correctly unable to find a printer locally attached.
I choose yes, meaning that I want to install a networked printer and it crashes
back to MCC.

This renders me unable to install a printer (still) on this computer.
