------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-23 11:41 ------- I have seen a similar problem. Furthermore, a related problem may be one I've seen more often: when starting a new mail message after evolution has been running for some time, it refuses to start the message composition window, saying the component for HTML formatted e-mail is of the wrong version (even though I'm only going to compose a plain text e-mail). This can be resolved by completely exiting evolution and restarting it. Thanks, Damon ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I'm running the latest Cooker. Yesterday Evolution suddenly crashed with the error that the component that handles the mail aspect had quit unexpectedly. When I restart Evolution now, it sits there hung up trying to open folder files. When I start it from console, I get the following information: [EMAIL PROTECTED] jason]$ evolution evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error setting owner on component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent -- CORBA error evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to TRUE -- IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 When I close it, I get this additional information in the console: evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to FALSE -- IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Waiting for component to die -- OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_ShellComponent (1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] jason]$ Thanks, Jason Komar Lubetec Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
