------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-05 11:12 -------
When one evolution component crashes, it is best to run 'killev' before
restarting evolution (oaf-slay might also help..)

Closing as WorkForMe since there isn't a reproducible test case here..

description:
I'm running the latest Cooker. Yesterday Evolution suddenly crashed with the
error that the component that handles the mail aspect had quit unexpectedly.
When I restart Evolution now, it sits there hung up trying to open folder files.
When I start it from console, I get the following information:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] jason]$ evolution

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error setting owner on component
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent -- CORBA error

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to TRUE --
IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

When I close it, I get this additional information in the console:

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to FALSE --
IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

Waiting for component to die -- OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_ShellComponent (1)
