description:
Installation of 9.1rc1 on a pc with an Adaptec 2940UW scsi controller and dual
onboard ide interfaces. Has four 9.1 GB scsi drives. All drives are
recognized. Added all four scsi drives to a Level 5 raid array md0. Expert
mode attempt to format the array results in a message "Not a Hash Reference".
Switching to normal mode and clicking on done, the system formats all ide
partitions correctly, but reports "mkraid failed" when attempting to format the
array.
Installation of 8.2 on this computer is successful. System has a SOYO Sy-7VDA
motherboard with a VIA-650 installed.
