I have checked the last two versions of XFree86 and have noticed that Patch 205, the gatos ati.2 drivers have not been updated. These drivers are needed to correct Bug#1429,#1466 and others. I have built the last two versions of XFree86 with gatos CVS and find the drivers, at least for my Mach 64 system, extremely stable and functionable. My question is whether this patch is going to be updated before 9.1 final. I will understand if it's felt that they would break other things but it would be nice to know.
