I have the same network card and the same problem. I've tried several installs.
I can connect to the network in 9.0, and it still connects when I upgrade to
9.1b1. However, neither 9.1b1, 9.1b2, 9.1b3, or 9.1rc1 will connect to the
network after a fresh install. And upgrading to anything other than 9.1b1 from
9.0 hasn't worked either.

In every case, the tulip driver is selected and "Bringing up interface eth0" on
power up shows OK. This is a 500 MHz K6 with 300+ MB RAM, connected to the
internet through a 4 port Trendware broadband router on DSL. The router is also
the DHCP server for the Linux box. The only other computer on the local network
is a Windows 2000 machine.

description:
It was detected as a "tulip" device, and it says the network is "up" but I
cannot browse with Mozilla (and it says "Internet access" status is "Not
connected").

This machine is an Athlon 1.0 GHz with 1.5 GB RAM, also running Windows 2000
which can connect with no problem so it's not a hardware issue. My network
configuration is a cable modem which serves DHCP, connected to the uplink port
of a Netgear DS108 hub, with 4 machines connected through the hub. All machines
work perfectly under Windows 2000.

I'm really hopeful that I can get Linux working on at least one of my machines,
as I'd really like to be able to use it.

This is Mandrake 9.1 beta 2.
