we've to release one day.
having a fixed date force you to fix bugs.

you've to understand that there'll always be some bugs.
increasing this process will only make you adding more bugs while
fixing other one (yes this do happen).

with a fixed date, you've to fix most bugs before.
then, while books are printed and boxes and cds are produced, you can
prepare updates.
