I changed the missing requires to ppp, and it should work now.
I checked the configuration with the current cooker and seems to be good in
install mode.

9.1 rc1 using the Sagem [EMAIL PROTECTED] 800 adsl usb modem.
This happened during the installation and subsequently, whether the modem is
plugged in at power on or whether it is plugged in after the pc has finished
booting.
