------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-07 11:22 ------- BTW, the best place for such option would be (Desktop Configuration || Control Center's LookNFeel)/Behavior, the "Devices" section on this tab. The "Display devices on desktop" option is currently turned off to make way for the dreaded "Removable Media" icon (why?). I think the proper way to implement it would be to make "Removable Media" icon one of device icons (their list currently includes mounted and unmounted floppies, CD-ROMs, CD-Writers, HDD Partitions, NFS Resources, Samba Shares, Zip Disks). ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: i am pretty positive that not every user is happy with removable media icon as well as with dynamic icons reloaded each time kde is started. i always have to use tutorial at https://icculus.org/~dolson/mdkxp/?c=tutorials to remove it. have you ever considered implementing function such as turn removable media/dynicons on/off (in KDE control center maybe) that would be really great. cheers, -joe-
