The video setup was still in the back ground. When I finished all the setups I was prompted if I wanted to save the configuration for XFREE 3.36 I could see that the information in the config was wrong mostly blank and I had chosen XFREE 4.3 so I said no. The 2 boxes for keyboard and graphical interface were empty. I selected us keyboard no problem. When I went to graphical interface it was a nightmare. It wouldn't let me pick viewsonic 7 it kept dumping me into generic. I picked [EMAIL PROTECTED] hz after many tries and vodoo 3 generic ( I have a vodoo 3 2000 ). The boxes and text were overlaping and very hard tp read but I stumbled through. Mandrake defaults to 800x600 16 bit color for my card so I chose that. When the system comes up it's fine but getting there is a real hassle.
