With KDE active, I plug Edirol UA-1A in an USB slot, mouse and keyboard are
freezed :
Alt Ctrl BS|+|-|F2 are inop�rant
Alt Sys B (Reset) was the only solution.
With Mandrake 9.0, I have used this device which is a standard USB-sound device.

I have an idea about this.
a) /etc/modules is exactly the same with Mdk 9.0 and 9.1 => Not the problem.
b) I have an "UA-1A USB Analog Audio Capture".

c) Without it, the boot works fine.
IMHO, an unknown device should be ignored (with an advertisement) and not freeze
the boot.
This device works with mdk9.0 without any special driver.
