Yeah, it didn't give me the level control I was looking for, too hit and miss, and the filters although good for automatically taking out some degradation, cannot give you manually editing capabilities. I also noticeed that I lost some high end on a few key records. If we could get something like this http://www.waverepair.com/ for Linux, I would be very happy. I don't mind using it, as it is a shareware specialty purpose tool written by a guy that needed a tool like this. Perhaps he could be convinced to release it under the GPL, and then perhaps someone could help him port it over to Linux. It also seems like this is what gramofile was trying to be.
