CROCKPOT APPLE PIE


This is a very easy dessert to make.  Just put everything in the crock-pot; 
and in a few hours, you will have a wonderfully warm, yummy dessert.



8 TART APPLES PEELED AND SLICED

1/4 TSP.  GROUND CINNAMON

1/4 TSP.  ALLSPICE

1/4 TSP.  NUTMEG

3/4-CUP MILK

2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER SOFTENED

3/4-CUP SUGAR

2 EGGS

1 TSP.  VANILLA

1/2-CUP BISQUICK

1-CUP BISQUICK

1/3-CUP BROWN SUGAR

3 TABLESPOONS COLD BUTTER



 TOSS APPLES IN LARGE BOWL WITH CINNAMON, ALLSPICE, AND NUTMEG.  PLACE IN 
LIGHTLY GREASED CROCKPOT.  COMBINE MILK, SOFTENED BUTTER, SUGAR, EGGS, 
VANILLA, AND THE 1/2-CUP BISQUICK.  SPOON OVER APPLES.



COMBINE THE 1 CUP BISQUICK AND BROWN SUGAR.  CUT THE COLD BUTTER INTO 
MIXTURE UNTIL CRUMBLY.  SPRINKLE THIS MIXTURE OVER TOP OF THE APPLE MIXTURE.



COVER AND COOK ON LOW 6-7 HOURS OR UNTIL APPLES ARE SOFT.

NOTE:  I find the newer crockpots seem to cook faster than the older ones; 
so you might want to start checking after four or five hours.

Hi, all.

I have a bunch of apples I'd like to fix in either the slow cooker or the 
microwave.  I have butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nut meg.

I'm wanting to do something like baked apples, but I'm not sure how to go 
about it.

Any recipes or pointers would be great.
