Million Dollar Fudge

8-ounce Hershey bar
12-ounce package Nestle's semisweet chocolate chips
1 pint marshmallow topping
12-ounce can evaporated milk (Carnation brand preferred)
4-1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Grease a 9-by-13 pan with butter.

Put Hershey Bar, chocolate chips and marshmallow topping in a large mixing
bowl.

Put milk, sugar and butter in a 4-quart pan and warm on medium heat,
stirring until mixture blends and comes to a boil. Cook at low boil for 6
minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Do not overcook.

Pour cooked mixture over chocolate and marshmallow in bowl and stir until
well blended and mixture begins to set. Stir in walnuts if desired. Spread
mixture into 9-by-13-inch pan. Chill at least 2 hours before cutting into
pieces.

Yield: 5 pounds.
