Dave,
I used to always cook vegetables on the stove top, but for the last couple
of years I've been roasting them. I like to taste and the consistency better
when there done in the oven. The way I do it is to put the vegetables in a
baking dish mixed with a little bit of olive oil and ground pepper. For
broccoli and cauliflower, I usually put the oven on 350 for about 15
minutes. Things like carrots take a little bit longer. I really love this
method; and rarely use the stove for vegetables anymore.
