Coffee Cake

 

½ cup butter

1 and ½ cups white sugar

3 eggs

3 cups flour

2 Tsp. Baking powder

1 and ½ cups sour cream

1 and ½ Tsp. Baking soda

 

Method

 

1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3. Sift flour and baking powder together and add soda and sour cream mixture 
alternately.

4. Pour ½ of this batter into a well greased angel food pan.

5. Sprinkle with the following mixture,½ cup brown sugar 1 Tsp. Cinnamon 

1 Tsp. Cocoa.

6. Add remaining batter and top with rest of topping mixture.

7. Cut through with a knife.

8. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
