OVEN BAKED APPLE - NUT PANCAKE
1/2 c. water 3 eggs 2 lg. tart cooking apples, pared and thinly sliced (about 3 c.
slices) 1/3 c. sugar, divided 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Combine Bisquick, water, eggs, and 1 teaspoon sugar; mix well and set aside. In skillet, saute apples in butter over medium - high heat until tender. Pour apples into lightly greased 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle apples with nuts and cover both with batter. Cover plate with foil. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until pancake is puffed and sugar is melted. Loosen side of pancake from plate; cool slightly.
Cut into wedges; serve with syrup.  Enjoy.
