Sounds to me like to much work. You can cook the whole thing in the time it takes to cook and drain the nuddles. Browning meat only takes a few minutes in a pan. So here is my idea. 1. fill a pot with water for spagetty. Put it on the stove on high. Then heat a frying pan for meat and brown it for a few minutes. Then drain the meat and put it in a sauce pan with the spagetty sauce and cover it while heating until it starts to make noise. Turn it down and stir it. Put the cover back on it and make sure that it is not cooking to fast because it can boil over when covered. Now go back to the noodles and finish them while the sauce with meat is cooking. After you try it a couple of times you can get the whole project to take less then 1 hour not counting eating time. I have never tried the crock pot for heating the meat. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Claudia" <[email protected]>

Subject: [CnD] Crockpot Spaghetti?

Hi,

Have any of you made spaghetti in the crockpot?
I was thinking about doing this, and this is what I plan to do.
Brown the meat, in the crockpot, on the slow setting, for 5 to 6 hours, add the sauce during the last hour and make noodles, during last half hour of cooking time, over the stove.
Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks.

Claudia
