Portuguese Kale Soup

Serve with grated parmesan cheese.

In soup pot, brown 2 C. onions in oil 
Add: 
4 or 5 potatoes, diced
lots of kale, washed and chopped 
garlic

Cover and cook 15 minutes.

Add: 4 Spanish chorizo or Portuguese sausage, skinned and chopped
2 to 3 boxes or cans (32 oz. each) chicken stock 
1 can garbanzos (chick peas)
Cook 1 1/2 hour, until potatoes. ,are soft. Add chopped parsley.
