Hi (Katie?) it's Tonya. Actually why vinegar, since I use it for the toilet tank, (??) been there for good two to four hours sometimes all day. Since it eat ups the enzymes, I mean that, I mean. I mean, the bacteria in the toilet, I figured well, on toilet seat. And I'm stained like an the oil stain. So, any kind of stain. That will work just as well too. You know. And it might leave a pleasant odor. You know, and it's something very acidic. I mean it won't hurt anything
