Six Minute Microwave Fudge
Needed:
2 12 oz. bags of chocolate chips, peanut butter, or what flavor you want
your fudge to be.
1 7oz marshmallow cream
1 can of condensed milk Make sure it says condensed milk, NOT, evaporated
milk.
place all of this in a microwave bowl and stir around a little.
Then place in microwave for 3 minutes. Remove from microwave, stirring
quickly all together. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring at this time,
stirring it in. If you want finely chopped nuts, you put them in at this
point too. I don't use nuts, but, if you do, maybe from 1/2 to 3/4 cup
should be enough. Your choice on how nutty you like it.
Return to microwave for another 3 minutes. Remove again stirring well and
pour into a very well buttered bottom and sides, 9 by 13 inch preferable
Pyrex glass pan. You can use medal but butter well. Take bottom of spoon
to smooth out to make sure it has met corners and sides. Place in fridge.
for several hours, or overnight is even better if you make it in the
evening.
Set it out to get room temperature before trying to cut into squares.
Enjoy.
Katie

You are welcome, Linda, but by the rules of the list, we should be having
the conversation off list. I forgot to clean up the forward too, so I admit
to goofing also. It was just a repost of Donald's fudge recipes that was
requested but I forgot to copy and paste it. The most important part is
that your family will enjoy some yummy fudge. I think the microwave is a
very safe way for us to make fudge.
I did it once with Jan's peanut butter fudge that came from our mutual
friend who passed away and it came out fantastic. Time to do some more.
But in the future, we are not supposed to thank people on list. Lora

Hey Carl, this Donald in Ontario, Canada. There are two recipes that I
make
every Christmas. I prefer the sweetened condensed canned milk recipe with
melted chocolate chips.
Sweet Milk Fudge
1 can sweatened condensed milk (8 ounce) 250 ml
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 750 ml
1 teaspoon liquid vanilla flavouring 10 ml
Combine all ingredients in large mircrowave proof bowl.
Place in microwave for 1 minute on high power.
Stir and repeat time/power. Stir until blended.
Do not over heat.
Pour into greased square glass baking dish. Cool in fridge.
Cut into small squaresMakes 16 squares.
* Vanilla or white chocolate chips or any flavoured chips may be used IE.
butterscotch, peanutbutter, dark chocolate
Brown Sugar Fudge
2 cups brown sugar, packed gently 500 ml
1 can sweetened condensed milk 250 ml
½ cup softened unsalted butter 125 ml
cook above in microwave for 12 minutes
stop and stir at every 2 minutes
At end of 12 minutes remove from microwave. beat 5 minutes in bowl with
electric mixer
Place in cold water bath beat 1 minute with mixer
put into 8 by 8 greased pan
let stand for 2 hours. Cut into squares.
**With the first recipe you can becreative and add pecan nuts, walnuts or
marachino cherries when you pour it into the pan for cooling.
