Nancy, for me usually it is too thick but I do remember once I put too much
milk in it and then I had to put in more icing sugar and the cream cheese
taste kind of got lost. I remember my neighbour telling me to put in a
squirt of lemon juice to make it taste more like cream cheese. She also told
me if ever I need to make cream cheese icing and I don't have any cream
cheese she said to use lemon juice instead of vanilla flavouring and it
gives it a false taste that it has cream cheese in it. I have tried it on
carrot cake and it is pretty good. Just thought I would pass on the tip.

Subject: [CnD] Runny Cream Cheese Frosting
I made a batch of cream cheese frosting to put on a birthday cake. I went
right by the recipe and my frosting was really runny. I even added some
more powdered sugar to it. The recipe said to let the cream cheese sit out
a few minutes before making the frosting. I have never had cream cheese
frosting to turn out like that. Has anyone else ever had that happen.
